Merry Christmas

From my family to yours, we’d love for you to join us at Eastern Hills this Christmas Eve as we celebrate the birth of hope. This year’s message will explore how the first cry of Christ helps us understand His final cry—“It is finished.” It’s one of my favorite services of the entire year, and we would be honored to celebrate with you.

Celebrate the wonder of Christmas with Carols & Candlelight

Join us this Christmas Eve at 2:00 PM and 4:00 PM for a beautiful night of Carols & Candlelight as we celebrate the birth of Jesus. This meaningful, family-friendly service (with childcare up to age five) will blend classic carols, a short and hope-filled message, and a powerful moment of candlelight as we reflect on the light of Christ shining in the darkness. Afterward, stick around for cookies and cocoa in the lobby as we enjoy the warmth, joy, and wonder of Christmas together.

If it’s your first time at Eastern Hills

If you’re visiting for the first time, we encourage you to arrive about 15 minutes early to allow time for parking and finding a seat—our Christmas Eve services fill up quickly. We’re located right next to Ace Hardware; simply turn left into the Brinan Fields Run neighborhood, and you’ll see our building on the left. When you walk in, you’ll be welcomed by a warm, friendly team ready to help you find your way. Our music is lively and uplifting, and the message is designed to be both helpful and hopeful, pointing you to the true meaning of Christmas. We can’t wait to celebrate with you!

A Joyful Christmas Eve for Kids & Families

We love having kids with us on Christmas Eve! For those sitting in the service, we’ll have busy bags available to help keep little hands engaged. For children five and under, our caring and fully background-checked childcare team will be ready to provide a fun, safe, and comfortable environment—if that’s what works best for your family. And if you prefer to stay together for the entire service, that’s absolutely welcome too. Our goal is to support your family in whatever helps you enjoy this special night.

What to Expect

Our Christmas Eve service will last about 55 minutes and is designed to help you experience the hope and wonder of Jesus’ birth. We’ll begin with familiar Christmas carols, followed by our special Christmas Offering, supporting two meaningful ministries this year: Impact Relief, serving persecuted widows in Pakistan, and A Tiny Home for Good, providing affordable housing for vulnerable neighbors in our city. The service will also include a spoken word moment, a beautiful Scripture reading of the birth of Christ, a short and engaging message, and a time of worship and candlelight as we reflect on the light of Jesus. After the service, join us in the lobby for cocoa and cookies as we celebrate together.
